Busy Phillips says “f*ck em” after unexpected Busy Tonight cancellation. The popular actress has already decided that she will not let the cancellation of her show bring her down and is determined to find her show a new home.

Phillips shot to fame with the hit TV show Freaks and Geeks whom she starred in with James Franco and Seth Rogan back in 1999. The American actress also starred in Dawson’s Creek, White Chicks, and He’s Just Not That into You. The Critics’ Choice Award winner also has written a best-selling book. Phillips’ late-night show first aired on October 28th, 2018 to rave reviews.

As Phillips welcomed in the New Year, she also took the Instagram to open up to her followers about her candid feelings in regard to the sudden cancellation of her beloved talk show, Busy Tonight that happened back in April of 2019. During her time on social media, she decided to post #almostgrams that showed posts that did not make the cut throughout the year. Phillip shared a  humorous posts that she wrote about how she felt when it came to having lost her job as a TV host, check out the post below:

In one particular post, the actress shared that she had flown to Dallas, Texas to shoot a commercial for Michael’s, when she landed she had a message from her manager to call her straight away. During her phone call, she learned that her E! show would not be renewed and would be canceled by the end of the month. According to Phillips she was blindsided by the cancelation and claimed that executives at the network had texted her about upcoming marketing for the show. The next couple of Tweets showed crying selfies after Phillips drank three tequilas in her hotel bar. Phillips concluded her long post by saying that she worked hard to prove people around her wrong. She also shared with fans that she was hurt that E! was so cold about the cancelation and warned her female followers that men will always try to take over and that women need to stay strong and hold their heads up high. Even though the cancelation of Busy Tonight came as shock the actress had been shopping around for a new home for her show but, so far, one has yet to bite.
