Bravo’s new series Camp Getaway is like summer camp - but for adults. Fans will be granted an in-depth look at how high powers professionals deal with the stress of their jobs.

For years, Bravo has been producing hit shows such as The Real Housewives franchise, Project Runway, and Southern Charm. Each franchise has its own set of characters that lend some kind of drama to the show’s atmosphere, reeling in fans by the thousands. The network even started its very own BravoCon in 2019, where fans were able meet their favorite reality TV stars and take pictures with them. It seems that Bravo isn’t going to slow down there as they continue to expand their empire.

Fans get your smores and scary stories ready as Bravo announced that they would be launching a new show called Camp Getaway. Ahead of the premiere for the new series on Monday, April 6th, Bravo released a trailer featuring all of the drama for season 1. The newest reality show will follow around a group of young counselors as they work in over 300 acres running a summer camp for adults. The camp was built to be an adult experience only, with no chance of children running around. In the first look, the clip shows the adults running wild during their serene retreat away from the concrete jungle. The footage show’s one counselor explains the experience as the “opposite of adulting" which means leaving sociatial and personal responsibility at the door. The official Camp Getaway Instagram posted the trailer to their page, check out all of the drama this series has to offer below:

The camp offers many of the traditional activities such as bike riding, swimming, and volleyball. But contrary to a typical camp experience, the getaway offers themed dances, mimosas, and massages. David Schreiber is the owner and camp director and he works alongside the Executive Camp Director, Claire Sorrels. Fans were introduced to the counselors: Adam Mizrahi, Gavin Stewart, Glen North, Monica O’Neal, Neely Fortune, Nile Lundgren, Randall Klein, and Sophia D’Angelo. Not shockingly, the counselors revealed that they previously held normal 9-5 jobs prior to becoming counselers at this adult camp, they held very grown-up jops such as a real estate broker or a clinical psychologist. Even though the new reality series sounds like a blast from the past, the owners warn that it is not always so laid back. There are high maintenance demands such as campers’ dietary restrictions and thread count of sheets. In the exclusive scene, two counselors are being berated for getting a guest’s pesco-vegetarian diet wrong.

Ultimately the guests do not want to be managed they are just at the camp to have fun and this is what the aim of the show is, to help over-privileged patrons enjoy their downtime. It seems like a dream come true for the adults that are really big kids at heart and want to go back to the simple camp life they knew as kids.
